Since 5th March 2007, the WAZ Media Group has been publishing a Russian language daily newspaper, the "Rheinskaja Gazeta", which was changed to a weekly newspaper on 4th January 2008.

The "Rheinskaja Gazeta" is published on Thursdays and is aimed at about 750.000 Russian speaking citizens, who have settled in the area between the Sieg river and the Weser river. 

"Rheinskaja Gazeta" is a modern weekly newspaper with contents from politics, economy, sport, culture and service interesting the general public. The editorial focus is on regional (NRW) reporting and news and reports from the former home countries.

The weekly newspaper is sold by subscription, via press wholesalers (Presse-Grosso) and railway station bookshops in North Rhine Westphalia and has a retail price of 1,6 €. The annual subscription fee is 69,00 €.
